Is there a deposit requirement for rental?

We run an authorization on your credit card in an amount up to the total due.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

It is our policy to require renters to wear a helmet. One will be provided to you free of charge.

Is there a minimum age to rent?

You must be 18 years of age to rent a G-Bike. You must be 16 years of age to ride a GBIKE. If you are under 18, you must weigh at least 100 lbs, and have a parent or guardian sign a liability release and accompany you on the rental.

Where can I ride G-Bikes?

G-Bike City can be ridden on any public street or bike lane. When on a public street, you should ride the G-Bike City like you would ride a bicycle, which is riding in the right hand lane on the right side of the lane. When you need to turn left, check your mirrors, turn on your signal, and when safe, proceed into the left hand turn lane and complete your turn. G-Bike City cannot be ridden on the beach bike path or in bike paths in general.

G-Bike Stealth and G-Bike Chopper can be ridden on any public street and in all bike lanes, as well as on all bike paths. No G-Bike can be ridden on highways, freeways, 3rd St. Promenade, or Santa Monica Pier.

How far will the different G-Bikes travel?

The G-Bike City can travel up to 40 Miles on a single charge depending on riding conditions. The G-Bike Chopper can travel up to 20 Miles on a single charge depending on riding conditions. It can also be ridden like a regular bike in case charge is lost.

The G-Bike Stealth can travel up to 25 Miles on a single charge depending on riding conditions. It can also be ridden like a regular bike in case charge is lost
